The Cornwallis Suite is an incredibly versatile venue. Our function room or garden can be
hired out exclusively for all types of events – birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers,
christening, funerals, business conferences, charity events, and, well, the list goes on.
Whatever the occasion, we’re dedicated to making your function truly special.


Have you got a big birthday coming up? Are you and your partner celebrating a special anniversary? The Cornwallis Suite can be booked for any kind of party or social get- together. You are free to decorate the space as you wish and can choose from a range of catering packages, including buffets, hog roasts, BBQs and sit-down meals.

Saying goodbye to and celebrating the life of a loved one who has recently passed away is emotional. Here at The Cornwallis Suite, we will work closely with you to create a special, uplifting and memorable day for all.

The Cornwallis Suite’s spacious function room is well-suited to business conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, presentations, seminars and workshops. It can be yours for the whole day. Benefit from our excellent location close to Maidstone town centre and large car park.

What’s included?

We offer a complete venue hire solution, meaning our in-house team manage everything
from booking through to catering, front-of-house support and cleaning. You are guaranteed
to receive a first-class service from start to finish.

There is a set room/garden hire rate for the day or evening and additional options such as
food and drink to explore, which can be tailored around you. Many customers take
advantage of our in-house Thyme to Dine event catering, which offers delicious sit-down
meals, canapes, hot and cold buffets, sharing platters, carveries and BBQs.
